Costa Rica – it was here that I discovered my passion for nature photography many years ago. Back then, I used an older Canon camera and had very little knowledge of photography. Since then, I've had the privilege of traveling to this beautiful country with its breathtaking nature several times. From the Nicoya Peninsula on the Pacific coast down to Puntarenas, through the interior to the Caribbean coast. Walking through the tropical rainforest, hearing the sounds of nature with every step, eager for the next discovery – pure adventure! A highlight for me was spotting the rare quetzal high up in the cloud forest of Monte Verde… sometimes, it takes a great deal of patience.
